Help Israel, US Sends Submarine USS Ohio

Apart from deploying two aircraft carriers around the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, the US Navy (US Navy) also confirmed the presence of a nuclear-powered attack submarine in Uncle Sam's mission to support the Zionist country.
The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) on November 6 released information on the USS Ohio (SSGN-726) which was crossing the Suez Canal. As part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, USS Ohio carries substantial strike capabilities with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Armed with Tomahawk missiles, it is estimated that these cruise missiles will be projected to carry out attacks on the defense bases of the Houthi and Hezbollah armed groups who are launching missile and rocket attacks on Israeli territory.
Some of the Ohio class submarines, including the USS Ohio, have been converted into Guided-Missile Submarines (SSGN) equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Along with their original role as ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs) carrying Trident missiles, Ohio submarines have been converted to allow them to carry Tomahawk cruise missiles and perform the additional role as submarines with the ability to attack surface targets.
Upon conversion to an SSGN in 2004, USS Ohio has the capability to carry up to 154 Tomahawk cruise missiles, which can be used for conventional strikes or special missions such as striking ground targets or other combat-based roles. Following her conversion to an SSGN, USS Ohio rejoined the US fleet on 7 February 2006.
The ability to carry Tomahawk missiles expands the submarine's operational flexibility, allowing it to face a variety of different situations and missions as per US military policy and needs. In terms of capabilities, the BGM-109 Tomahawk missile launched from the USS Ohio can attack targets at a distance of more than 2,500 km.
Built by General Dynamics Electric Boat, this submarine's first keel was laid on April 10, 1976, then the USS Ohio was launched on April 7, 1879, and officially entered US Navy service on November 11, 1981.
The arsenal of weapons carried by the USS Ohio is projected for the destruction of long-range targets on the surface, namely with the provision of 22 launcher tubes, each of which contains 7 Tomahawk cruise missiles. Meanwhile, on the front there is a 533 mm caliber torpedo launcher.
With the support of a nuclear reactor, the USS Ohio can sail continuously without resupply for 60 days. USS Ohio is 170 meters long and 13 meters wide. The surface weight is 16,499 tons and the submerged weight is 18,450 tons.
The surface speed is around 12 knots and the diving speed is more than 20 knots. USS Ohio was crewed by 15 officers and 140 sailors. In theory, this attack submarine can dive to a depth of 240 meters.
